The plugin works with five options. You can set up more than one and pick which to use each time, in the editor.

Prices, free tiers and limits are set by each provider and change often. Check their pricing pages before large jobs.
How to choose
- Just trying it out: start with Free basic, then Gemini's free tier.
- Best quality for important pages: Claude or ChatGPT.
- Speed on a budget: Groq.
- Confidential content: Free basic keeps text on your computer. Avoid free tiers of cloud providers, which may use your text to improve their products.
Translate the same short page with two providers and compare. Quality depends on your language pair more than on general reputation.
Models
Each provider uses a sensible default model. You can change it in the provider's setup panel under Model (optional).
